Most experts on organizations, management and leadership, assert that effective communication is the foundation for effectiveness in any type of organization. As organization, leaders and managers mature, they realize the need to effectively convey and receive information, and efforts at communications increase substantially. EDUTECH is no different. As a part of ensuring that knowledge-sharing and communication processes are part of the daily workflow across all functions, we have several channels of internal communication.

Started with the aim of giving the team a sense of direction that is clearly communicated by the top management, team members now know of developments within the Company straight from the CEO’s desk. Team members have a clarity on the organization’s short-term and long-term goals and objectives. It ensures that knowledge-sharing and communication processes are part of the daily workflow across all functions of the business. It helps drive
SPICE Up-The Magazine for Edutechies by Edutechies
Spice Up is an internal communication magazine that expresses Edutechies creativity. Started with the purpose of bringing Edutechies from all locations closer to each other, bring in the spirit of camaraderie and share our work and personal experiences in a common form, the magazine is considered Youthful, Vibrant, Interesting, Intellectual, with a Sense of Humour and a dash of Mischief.
Some month back, we also decided to extend this to our team members’ families and had an issue dedicated to Juniors of Edutechies. The kids special was a roaring success.

The Connect Initiative
Connect is an initiative led by People Practices to reach out to all Team members with the intention of gaining a better perspective of their thoughts on the company, on the work they were involved in, about the work atmosphere among other key inputs. This was conducted with the sole purpose of providing a more conducive work atmosphere enhancing both the professional and personal experience of each team member based on feedback received. To ensure neutraility of findings, Edutech engaged an external Organizational Development Consultant to work on this initiative and speak to Edutechies across all levels, functions and locations.
We also have regular team meetings across functions and location, this proves as a means of information sharing and also provides team members with with a platform to raise and discuss work concerns.
