Shameema Parveen

Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer

Shameema co-founded Edutech in the UAE in 1991 to transform education through technology. She leads our industry partnerships for education and future workplace skills, and in 2015 set up the STEM+ Studio, a space where students learn by making through hands-on physical and digital projects. Shameema has been an expert consultant on national projects for the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia, mentors start-ups and champions women's entrepreneurship.

Faisal Karim

Director, Future Skills

Faisal oversees strategic projects and key operational units at Edutech. He has worked with the EdTech and library communities in the Middle East for more than 15 years, specialising in education transformation and digital publishing, and has recently led K-12 STEM development, digital library and content development projects. Faisal holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Middlesex University (UK) and has experience across sales and marketing, corporate governance and finance.
